In the far reaches of India, in the scenic locale of Rajouri in Kashmir, a new school has taken shape. The ideas of the fathers got materialised in the form of Christ School on April 10, 2011.Three acres of plain land had been bought for this purpose the previous year.The founding principal was Father Isaac Konganpuzha.The school has three classes, LKG, UKG and the Ist standard.A total of 92 students attend the school under the nurturing guidance of seven teachers, of whom there are two male staff and five female staff. Four of the staff members are from Kerala.In addition, there are three non-teaching members of staff.Students belonging to Hindu, Muslim and Sikh communities attend the school. In the snow and strife of Kashmir, the school is a token of education and support for all those in need.
