In 2004 Fr. Paul Chackannikunel purchased fourteen acres of land with the intention of developing a plantation in 2004. The plantation now has 600 cocount trees, 500 rubber trees and 2000 coffee plants. Fr. George Kochuvelikkakath, in his last two terms has spared no effort in developing the this land into a plantation of excellent standards.
