With the help of the benefactor of late Fr. Augustine Kulakkatuvayal, nine acres of cultivation land was purchased by Fr. Joseph Mattam in Chamarajnagar in 2001. Three acres of this plot was got alienated through the effort of Fr. John Thonippara with the intention of starting an institution. A committee was set up to study the feasibility of setting up a school but as of date, no undertaking has been started. The land is currently being used for cultivation and 500 mango trees are been grown here. At Fr. Kurian Kizhakemalil’s initiative,a bore-well and power supply have been established on the plantation. Currently, there is a farm house on the land
